
MINSK, 27 April (BelTA) – Enterprises run by the Industry Ministry have reached a growth trajectory, it is important to support and bolster this dynamics, Belarusian Industry Minister Aleksandr Rogozhnik told BelTA in an interview.
Aleksandr Rogozhnik said: “Our enterprises performed in the black in Q1 2023: the output growth rate totaled 109.6% in comparable prices as against Q1 2022. Output targets were met and exceeded in physical terms in such commodity groups as forage harvesters and cereal harvesters (with assembly kits), earthmoving carriers (haul trucks), microwave ovens, color TV sets, washing machines, lifts, trucks, finished rolled ferrous metal products, and cars.”
In his words, the merchandise export growth rate of Industry Ministry enterprises is expected to reach 117% in January-March. This industry gained a net profit and met the profitability target.
The Industry Ministry constantly works to reduce manufacturing costs and selling costs, reduce the stock in storage.
In January-March 2023 the average monthly salary at Industry Ministry enterprises is expected to reach Br1,911.8. This important target has been exceeded.
“On the whole, all the performance targets were met. But it doesn't mean we should become self-complacent,” the minister added.
