MINSK DISTRICT, 10 March (BelTA) – The Great Stone park is a highly successful project, SCO Secretary General Zhang Ming told the media as he visited the Great Stone Industrial Park, BelTA has learned.
"The Great Stone Industrial Park made a deep impression on me. The park was founded by China, a member of the SCO, together with Belarus, a SCO observer country. For more than 10 years, the industrial park has made very noticeable progress in development. 107 enterprises are already operating here. What has been done in the Great Stone park over the years is a great achievement. I look forward to even greater achievements and the development of its potential in the future. I am sure that all the employees of the park create a better future b their work," Zhang Ming emphasized.
The China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone is a special economic zone with a special legal regime. It is located 25km away from Minsk. The park's priority development areas include mechanical engineering, electronics and telecommunications, biotechnologies, pharmaceutics, new materials, logistics, digital commerce, big data storage and processing.
