GOMEL, 9 February (BelTA) – Gomel-based Gomselmash will increase the export of agricultural machinery to Armenia in 2021, BelTA learned from the company.
Plans to expand supplies were discussed during the visit of an Armenian delegation to the company. Representatives of the Armenian-Belarusian Trading House Ar-Be toured the permanent exhibition and the main production and assembly shops of Gomselmash.
The parties took stock of bilateral cooperation in 2020 and discussed deliveries of Gomselmash agricultural machinery to Armenia. “Representatives of the Ar-Be trading house said they would like to see more models of Gomselmash agricultural machinery in the fields of Armenia. In particular, they showed interest in the agile GS5A combine harvesters, CS100 self-propelled mowers and FS60 forage harvesters,” Gomselmash informed.
The company started shipping its combine harvesters to Armenia in the summer of 2020. “GS12A1 were manufactured based on farmers' feedback. Armenia was happy with the Gomselmash machinery performance in 2020, the quality of the harvesters and the Gomselmash maintenance specialists who trained local machinery operators,” the company stressed.
