MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) – Belarus has established the organizing committee for the first Forum of Regions of Belarus and Ukraine due in Gomel in 2018. The Belarusian prime minister signed relevant order No.428р on 12 December 2017, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.
Belarus Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko has been appointed Chairman of the Organizing Committee.
The Organizing Committee has been instructed to develop and approve the plan of preparation for the first Forum of Regions of Belarus and Ukraine by 31 January 2018. If necessary, the Organizing Committee may involve, in accordance with the established procedure, heads and experts of the government bodies and other state organizations subordinated to the government, regional executive committees, Minsk City Hall and other organizations in the preparations for the forum .
