GOMEL, 10 October (BelTA) – A delegation of Gomel Oblast is on a visit to the Republic of Bashkortostan. The visit seeks to expand contacts and explore new opportunities to scale up cooperation, primarily in the economic sector, Gomel Oblast Governor Ivan Krupko was quoted as saying by the Telegram channel Gomel Oblast Officially, BelTA informs.
The governor cited examples of effective cooperation with Bashkortostan in 2022. “Gomselmash machinery is very popular with Bashkortostan farmers. In 2022, Bashkortostan purchased 31 self-propelled machines made by the Gomel-based producer of combine harvesters,” he informed.
A sublicense agreement to assemble BELARUS caterpillar tractors in Bashkortostan was signed in 2022 by Mozyr Machine Building Plant and Matrix Universal. The first tractor kit was delivered in August.
In 2022 StankoGomel company launched direct deliveries of console milling machines to Bashkortostan. “This enterprise is the only one in Belarus that produces modern vertical and horizontal СNС machining centers,” Ivan Krupko noted.
During the visit to Bashkortostan, the Gomel Oblast delegation is set to hold official meetings with Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov and members of the government. The delegation will also tour local enterprises and hold business negotiations.
The delegation includes a dozen directors and top managers of leading industrial enterprises of Gomel Oblast. There are plans to sign contracts, agreements and memorandums.
