Eximgarant of Belarus given green light to sign export risks insurance agreements

MINSK, 9 September (BelTA) – The Belarusian government has let the Eximgarant of Belarus to conclude new agreements on voluntary export risks insurance. Corresponding Resolution No.523 of 8 September 2020 was officially published on the national legal internet portal on 9 September, BelTA has learned.

The Eximgarant of Belarus can now sign with the Development Bank of Belarus agreements on voluntary export risks insurance against non-repayment and (or) delay in repayment of export loans provided by this bank to the Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank (Republic of Burundi/Republic of Mauritius) to pay for products of Gomselmash, Minsk Automobile Plant, Minsk Tractor Works, Minsk Bicycle Plant, and Pozhsnab.

The Eximgarant of Belarus will also sign with the Development Bank of Belarus an agreement on voluntary export risks insurance against non-repayment and (or) delay in repayment of export loans provided by this bank to Finmining Pte. LTD (Singapore) to pay for BelAZ haulers.

The resolution comes into effect on the day of its adoption.
