NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MOSCOW, 2 June (BelTA) – The exhibition titled as Eurasia is Our Home will be held at the Sirius Science and Art Park in Sochi, Russia on 7-9 June. It is timed to coincide with the meetings of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and the CIS Heads of Government Council and will be held within the framework of Russia's chairmanship in the Eurasian Economic Union, BelTA learned from the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
"The Eurasia is Our Home exhibition will showcase the achievements in the development of cooperation and economic ties in the Eurasian space. The main purpose of the event is to demonstrate the integration and cooperation projects between the CIS and EAEU countries. The exposition will be divided into the thematic areas: industry, finance, digitalization and digital development, healthcare, tourism, sports, science and education," the EEC said.
The exhibition will feature the EAEU and CIS member states, observer states at the EAEU, and other countries that are important trade and economic partners. More than 200 companies have already confirmed their participation in the event. The exhibition will span more than 7,000 square meters, of which more than 2,000 square meters will be an outdoor exposition of agricultural, railway, and automotive equipment.
"The strategic priority is to achieve the technological sovereignty of the EAEU countries, including through the expansion of industrial cooperation. The Eurasia is Our Home exhibition is a great opportunity to demonstrate the current level of mutual integration and the depth of economic ties in the Eurasian space," said Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia.
