Energy Ministry: Russian gas price remains unchanged for Belarus in 2023

MINSK, 23 February (BelTA) – The price for Russian gas for Belarus in 2023 will be the same as in 2022 , Belarusian Energy Minister Viktor Karankevich told reporters in Minsk on 23 February, BelTA has learned.

Russia's Gazprom and the Belarusian government signed a protocol on the price for natural gas supplied to Belarus and the mark-up for natural gas sold by Gazprom Transgaz Belarus to buyers in Belarus for 2023-2025, the minister informed.

"In accordance with the document, the price of gas for Belarus is pegged to the Russian ruble and will stay at the level of 2022 in 2023," Viktor Karankevich said.
