
MOSCOW, 15 March (BelTA) – The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission will consider expanding the use of national currencies by the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union in mutual settlements at its next videoconference meeting on 30 March, official representative of the Eurasian Economic Commission Iya Malkina said at a briefing for the press in Moscow on 15 March, BelTA has learned.
According to Iya Malkina, the agenda of the upcoming meeting includes a draft agreement on a harmonized system for determining the origin of goods exported from the customs territory of the EAEU, a draft agreement on the mutual recognition of bank guarantees in public procurement.
"The council is also set to consider expanding the use of national currencies in mutual settlements and developing payment and settlement relations, amending the procedure for EAEU technical regulations and a number of other issues," Iya Malkina noted.
