
MINSK, 16 November (BelTA) – A meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) will be held on 24 November, EEC official representative Iya Malkina said at a press briefing in Moscow on 26 July, BelTA has learned.
"The agenda includes about 40 items. The EEC Council will consider the draft agreement on the EAEU unified customs transit system and a third party, a report on approaches to cooperation in the provision of medical care, amendments to some decisions regarding certain types of cattle meat, and amendments in relation to certain types of electric vehicles. Also on the agenda are the issues of removing barriers and reducing exemptions and restrictions in the EAEU internal market, improving the structure of electronic vehicle passport systems," Iya Malkina said.
The Council is also scheduled to review the amendments to the technical regulations "On the safety of machinery and equipment", "On the safety of agricultural, forestry tractors and trailers to them", "On the safety of alcoholic beverages" and other issues.
"It is expected that the EEC Council will approve the draft agenda of the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and consider the documents that will be submitted to the heads of state," Iya Malkina added.
