Direct flights between Minsk, Tehran to resume on 26 March

TEHRAN, 14 March (BelTA) – Minsk and Tehran are set to resume direct flights on 26 March, Belarus' Transport and Communications Minister Aleksei Avramenko told journalists commenting on the outcomes of the talks between the presidents of Belarus and Iran in Tehran on 13 March, BelTA has learned.

“Direct air travel between Minsk and Tehran will be resumed on 26 March. The Iranian airline Mahan Air will operate the Tehran-Minsk flights,” Aleksei Avramenko said.

According to him, these flights will be available twice a week. This will facilitate human and business contacts between the two countries, the minister emphasized.
