Contracts worth Br425m signed at investment forum in Mogilev District

MINSK, 4 October (BelTA) – Belarusian companies concluded ten contracts worth a total of Br425 million at the 1st investment forum Mogilev District – Territory of Opportunities on 4 October, BelTA learned from Irina Chindo, Deputy Chair of the Economic Department of the Mogilev District administration.

The biggest contract was signed between Servolux Agro (Belarus) and Servolux Vostok (Russia). The $20 million contract provides for exporting poultry to Russia in 2020.

The company Gazosilikat Mogilev and the Belblock company signed an investment contract worth $5 million. The companies Protos and Metinvest Disrtibution entered into a contract to supply $3 million worth of products.

Aide to the President – Inspector for Mogilev Oblast Mikhail Rusy and Chairman of Mogilev District Executive Committee Oleg Chikida held talks with representatives of the private sector and the tourism industry from Russia and Ukraine.

Mogilev District has become the first Belarusian district to organize a local investment forum. Such forums help demonstrate the economy of the district and attract new business partners. It is possible that other districts of Belarus will also organize such events.
