MOSCOW, 17 January (BelTA) – Another 15 MAZ-206 buses have been delivered to Cheboksary, the capital city of the Chuvash Republic, Russia. The buses were delivered in line with the contract signed by OOO GlavMAZtorg and the Cheboksary city bus company OOO Krokus Avto, the press service of the Belarusian embassy in Russia told BelTA.

As a result of the contract Cheboksary has received 25 buses compliant with the Euro-5 emission standard from the Belarusian automobile engineering company MAZ. The project was implemented as part of the program designed to upgrade the city's mass transit system.

The first ten Belarusian buses were delivered to the Russian region in November 2018.
