Close partnership between Belarus, Tajikistan chambers of commerce hailed

MINSK, 10 September (BelTA) - Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Belarus and Tajikistan are tied by close partnership relations, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) Vladimir Ulakhovich said as he spoke at an international conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of independence of Tajikistan and the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Tajikistan on 10 September, BelTA learned from the BelCCI.

“The BelCCI chairman hailed close friendly and partnership relations between the chambers of commerce and industry of Belarus and Tajikistan, the effective work of the Belarusian-Tajik Business Council, the importance of activities conducted for the development of trade and economic relations between businesses of the two countries, especially the traditional business forum Tajikistan-Belarus-Afghanistan, which was initiated by the BelCCI several years ago,” the chamber said.

The event was also attended by Chairman of the Executive Committee - CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev, Belarus' Agriculture and Food Ministry, Co-Chairman of the Belarus-Tajikistan intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation Ivan Krupko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Belarus Mahmadsharif Mahmoud, representatives of public administration, diplomatic corps and the Tajik diaspora.
