China-Belarus industrial park, Swiss park BUSS to cooperate in capital raising

MINSK, 15 October (BelTA) – The China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone and the Swiss industrial park BUSS will cooperate in the sphere of mutual capital raising. The possibilities were discussed as Hermann Beyeler, head of the managing company of the industrial park BUSS, visited the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian park and the Swiss one will also organize joint events and promote contacts between resident companies.

Hermann Beyeler said: “We have a lot of experience and we are ready to share it. Our partners – not only Swiss private companies but also companies from Germany, Austria, and Liechtenstein – are interested in developing their business in the Eurasian Economic Union. We've taken a closer look at Great Stone's capabilities and are ready to convey the information to interested private companies.”

Great Stone representatives noted that cooperation with BUSS would offer an opportunity to residents of the China-Belarus industrial park to reach highly developed markets.

The China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone is a special economic zone with a special legal regime. It is located 25km away from Minsk. Companies from 14 countries are registered in the park. The park's priority development areas include mechanical engineering, electronics and telecommunications, biotechnologies, pharmaceutics, new materials, logistics, digital commerce, big data storage and processing.
