BUCE, Iran's embassy to unite efforts to boost Belarus-Iran trade

MINSK, 10 October (BelTA) – The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) and Iran's Embassy in Belarus will work together to develop the Belarusian-Iranian trade. The relevant agreement was reached during a visit of a delegation of the embassy to the exchange, BUCE spokesperson Roman Yaniv told BelTA.

“Iran is ready to inform the Iranian business community about the possibilities of using the exchange mechanism to enter the market of Belarus and those of the member-states of the Eurasian Economic Union. The Iranian delegation also proposed to include visits to BUCE in programs of business events organized by the embassy,” the BUCE representative said.

According to the Iranian diplomats, the exchange trade can add a new impetus to the development of trade and economic relations between Belarus and Iran and become an effective tool for interaction between economic entities of both the countries.

Chairman of the Board of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange Aleksandr Osmolovsky confirmed the BUCE interest in closer cooperation with the embassy, first of all, in attracting Iranian representatives to the exchange platform. “Any cooperation should bring concrete, measurable results. In our case, this is the number of Iranian companies accredited at the exchange and the volume of their transactions. Therefore, it is important that as many representatives of Iranian business as possible can learn about the opportunities of the exchange trading and use them. We hope for support and assistance from the embassy in this matter,” said Aleksandr Osmolovsky.
