
MINSK, 14 December (BelTA) – As of 1 December 2022 the broad money supply in Belarus amounted to Br55.411 billion, 1.88% up from 1 November, BelTA learned from the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB). Broad money supply includes cash in circulation and money in bank accounts of individuals and corporations.
Cash in circulation rose by 1.2% to Br6.415 billion in November.
Transferable deposits went up by 9.8% to Br9.787 billion.
The money supply in national terms amounted to Br27.265 billion, 4.6% up in November.
The volume of national currency securities issued by banks (outside bank circulation) rose by 2.6% in November to Br1.524 billion.
The ruble money supply amounted to Br28.79 billion as of 1 December, 4.5% up from 1 November.
The volume of foreign currency deposits went down by 0.7% to Br25.847 billion.
