Bellegprom develops policies to support companies amid pandemic

MINSK, 29 May (BelTA) – The Belarusian state light industry concern Bellegprom has developed policies to support companies amid the COVID-19 pandemic, BelTA learned from the press service of the concern.

“The concern has developed a number of measures to support enterprises in the industry in the difficult conditions associated with the pandemic. The Bellegprom leadership has decided to transfer accounts, except for accounts on credit debts, from private banks to state-owned ones - Belarusbank, Belagroprombank and Belinvestbank - in order to improve the efficiency of interaction with the banking sector in terms of the most efficient implementation of various forms of business support,” said the press service.

This decision was taken in the framework of the concern's owner supervision, including taking into account “stress” business plans, developed by enterprises.

The Belarusian state light industry concern Bellegprom was founded in 1992. The concern comprises companies of textile, sewing, knitting and leather-footwear industries. Bellegprom creates conditions for the effective work of enterprises, for meeting the needs of the country in light industry products, and promotes Belarusian products in foreign markets.
