
MINSK, 20 January (BelTA) – In 2022 enterprises affiliated with the Belarusian light industry concern Bellegprom increased exports to the Russian Federation by a third, press secretary of the concern Marina Vaskevich told BelTA.
The concern ships its products to 72 regions of Russia. In 2022 it grew exports to 57 regions of the Russian Federation, including distant ones - Altai Territory, Murmansk Oblast, the Komi Republic, Irkutsk Oblast and Omsk Oblast. For the first time, Belarusian light industry products became available in Kalmykia and the Republic of Tyva. Key exports are hosiery and corsetry, fabrics, yarn, knitwear and ready-made clothing, shoes, carpets.
For example, in 2022 Bellegprom increased exports to Bashkortostan by more than 20%. Belarusian carpets, hosiery, knitwear, leather, fabrics of various types are sold in the region. The company Kapman from Bashkortostan and Belarus' Kamvol are running a project to produce non-combustible fabrics. Such an arrangement was reached during the visit of the Bashkortostan delegation to Belarus.
On 18 January the working group on cooperation between Belarus and the Republic of Bashkortostan convened in Minsk. The meeting was co-chaired by Rustam Muratov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan - Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy, and Chairman of the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim Andrei Rybakov. The meeting was also attended by Chairperson of the Bellegprom concern Tatiana Lugina.
