MINSK, 3 October (BelTA) – Model E321 electric bus with a new design will be presented at an exposition on the sidelines of the 2nd Forum of Regions of Belarus and Ukraine that is underway in Zhitomir on 3-4 October, BelTA learned from the Belkommunmash Holding Company.
“The exterior and interior solutions of the electric bus are based on the latest trends in mechanical engineering. This model of the electric bus meets technical requirements of the CIS member states and the EU countries,” the company informed.
These electric buses are low-floor vehicles equipped with the “kneeling” system and a ramp to provide easier access to the bus for passengers with limited mobility. There are specially equipped places for passengers with strollers, and a designated place for an assistance dog. Electric buses are fitted with an air conditioner. Model E321 vehicles are large capacity electric buses that can board 105 people.
These electric buses can be charged within eight minutes and overcome up to 20km off-line.
