MINSK, 21 June (BelTA) – A presentation of the special economic zone Bremino-Orsha took place in Shanghai on 21 June, BelTA learned from Consul General of Belarus in Shanghai Valery Matsel.
The presentation was organized by the largest Belarusian logistics company Bremino Group and the China Federation of Reemigrant Entrepreneurs. In order to attract Chinese investments into the special economic zone, Bremino Group Director Vasily Dementei spoke at length about progress in building the zone, preferences available to resident companies, and the projects the company intends to implement in the zone.
The consul general drew attention to invigoration of trade, economic, and investment interregional cooperation between Minsk and Shanghai. An increase in Belarusian food export to China was mentioned. Valery Matsel talked about the development of new logistics routes China – Belarus – Europe as part of the Silk Road Economic Belt.
Heads of the Belarusian companies Ruzspedition, Sohra, and AZ Fertilizer, representatives of the China Federation of Reemigrant Entrepreneurs, Chinese businessmen from Shanghai and the provinces of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Sichuan, Guangdong, Jiangxi took part in the presentation.
