Belarusian PM on working trip to Russian regions

MINSK, 26 April (BelTA) – Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko is on a working visit to Russia's Novosibirsk, Irkutsk and Yekaterinburg on 26-28 April, BelTA has learned.

Roman Golovchenko is scheduled to meet with Governor of Novosibirsk Oblast Andrei Travnikov on 27 April.

The Belarusian prime minister is set to visit a fair of Belarusian goods and also Novosibirsk Plant of Semiconductor Devices Vostok and Sibelectroprivod. Together with the governor of the Russian region, Roman Golovchenko will lay flowers at the Monument of Glory in honor of the feat of Siberians during the Great Patriotic War.

Roman Golovchenko is to attend a ceremony to hand over a batch of MTZ tractors to Baza Agrokomplekt (Omsk) and Novosibirsk District. The vehicles will be handed over by MTZ director Vitaly Vovk.

On 28 April, the prime minister is scheduled to meet with Governor of Irkutsk Oblast Igor Kobzev. On this day, the Belarusian head of government is also expected to take part in a meeting of business communities of Belarus and Irkutsk Oblast and to lay flowers at the Eternal Flame memorial.

On the same day, Roman Golovchenko will arrive in Sverdlovsk Oblast to meet with Governor of the Russian region Evgeny Kuyvashev.
