MINSK, 14 March (BelTA) – Mozyr Machine-Building Plant, which is part of the holding company MTZ, has started batch production of tractors with rubber-reinforced tracks, MTZ representatives told BelTA.

At present Mozyr Machine-Building Plant can assemble ten tracked tractors per month and intends to increase the output up to 20 tractors in the future. The Russian Federation is the main customer that buys the tracked tractor MTZ 2103.

The tracked tractor is powered by a 212hp engine, with its drawbar category at 4 tonnes. The ability to drive along conventional roads and operate on water-logged soils is the key advantage of tractors with rubber-reinforced tracks.
