
MINSK, 7 February (BelTA) – The Belarusian tractor manufacturer MTZ remains one of the world's major manufacturers of tractors, Belarusian Deputy Industry Minister Dmitry Kharitonchik said at the first international conference BELARUS TRACTORS in Minsk on 7 February, BelTA has learned.
"MTZ remains one of the world's leading manufacturers of tractors thanks to the continuous effort to improve the product itself and increase the quality," Dmitry Kharitonchik said.
According to him, improving the quality is the work not only of the company itself but also its suppliers. "Such meetings and conferences provide a good opportunity, on the one hand, to sum up the performance, to see what we have achieved, and, on the other hand, to outline the areas for further work and improvement," the deputy minister said.
Dmitry Kharitonchik wished the conference fruitful work. "May MTZ tractors become even better and more reliable," he stressed.
MTZ organized the first international conference BELARUS TRACTORS. Quality Mark on 7-8 February to determine the fundamental principles of the work of the largest assembly companies of Belarus and Russia with suppliers, taking into account the new geopolitical and macroeconomic realities.
The event brought together more than 250 people: heads and representatives of the Industry Ministry, MTZ, Belarusian Fund for Financial Support of Entrepreneurs, Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI), Belarusian State Institute of Metrology, Belarusian State Institute of Standardization and Certification, and the mechanical engineering flagships such as MMZ, MAZ, BelAZ, Gomselmash, KAMAZ, Pneumostroymashina and others.
