Belarusian Mogilevliftmash, Moscow-based Vozduhotehnika to jointly make lift machines

MOSCOW, 28 September (BelTA) – The Belarusian company OAO Mogilevliftmash and the Moscow-based company OOO PO MLM Vozduhotehnika have signed a protocol of intent on jointly producing lift machines, the press service of the Belarusian embassy in Russia told BelTA.

The project is of strategic importance for both companies because it continues the import substitution policy by leveraging manufacturing cooperation capabilities of Mogilevliftmash and Vozduhotehnika. Mogilevliftmash can make 22,000-24,000 lift machines per annum and makes 14,000 lift machines per annum. The implementation of this agreement will increase the Belarusian company's output by 5,000-7,000 lift machines and fill the gap on the Russian lift market with the equipment that has already been shipped together with Vozduhotehnika lifts for a long time.

The protocol was signed by Mogilevliftmash Deputy Director General for Commerce Aleksei Kazarin and Vozduhotehnika Director General Oleg Maksakov. The ceremony took place within the framework of the 7th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia.
