Belarusian light industry concern Bellegprom increases export to Asia

MINSK, 12 December (BelTA) – Enterprises affiliated with the Belarusian light industry concern Bellegprom increased their export to Asian countries in 2022, chairwoman of the concern Tatiana Lugina told the STV channel, BelTA informs.

“Our efforts to build our presence in Asian countries have born fruit this year. Our deliveries have grown by 37%. We have grown the export to the markets of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia. This year we have penetrated a new market, which is the market of Tajikistan. We have built a foothold in India. The enterprises of the concern have quadrupled deliveries to China on the back of the export growth of finished leather. We are thinking about Africa now. Our concern is set to meet export targets, the export growth is projected at 11.4% by the end of the year,” said Tatiana Lugina.

A trading house of Belarusian manufacturers has recently opened in Solnechnogorsk District of Moscow Oblast. The trading house is 400m2 big and offers more than 3,000 items of products made by Belarusian companies - Dobrush Porcelain Factory, Neman Glassworks, Orsha Linen Mill, Baranovichi Cotton Production Amalgamation, Barhim and other companies. “This trading house features products by 20-25 manufacturers of various goods. This is what we produce and what we are proud of in Belarus. Today the export of enterprises of the concern to the Russian Federation has grown by 30%,” the Bellegprom chief said.
