MINSK, 8 December (BelTA) – The Belarusian agricultural machinery manufacturer Lidselmash is increasing shipments to Uzbekistan. The matter was discussed as representatives of OAO Managing Company of the Holding Company Lidselmash led by Director General Roman Trubitsky visited Tashkent, Uzbekistan, representatives of the company told BelTA.
During negotiations Lidselmash signed a contract on delivering cotton cultivators to Uzbekistan. The first batch will be shipped to Uzbekistan in December 2025.
According to representatives of the Uzbek side, cotton cultivators made by Lidselmash meet all the essential requirements of local farmers. Uzbek farmers need economical but high-performance machines. The cultivators look appealing primarily thanks to their value for money. They are reliable in operation, easy to maintain, and simple in design.
The negotiations also paid attention to machines for planting and harvesting potatoes. The machines have already earned a reputation on the Uzbek market as reliable yet affordable. The Uzbek partners confirmed an increase in demand for these machines. Respectively a portfolio of orders for 2026 has been formed in excess of deliveries in 2025.
