NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 10 April (BelTA) - Since the launch of the new technological line the Belarusian manufacturer of construction materials OAO Krichevtsementnoshifer, which is part of Belarusian Cement Company, has produced 13 million tonnes of cement using the dry method, BelTA learned from Belarusian Cement Company (BCC).
The new technological line was put into operation in the summer of 2013. Then the launch ceremony of the modern plant built by Belarusian and Chinese specialists near the town of Krichev was attended by Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko.
One year on, Krichevtsementnoshifer reported the first million tonnes. The five-million mark was hit in 2017, the 10 millionth - in 2021. In July of last year, the company reported that it made 12 million tonnes of cement using the dry method since the technological line went online.
