Belarusian engine maker MMZ offers new leasing program to Russia

MINSK, 23 December (BelTA) – New opportunities for promoting and increasing sales of special machines made by the Minsk-based engine manufacturer MMZ in Russia have been opened thanks to the unique leasing program the partnership of MMZ and Sberbank Leasing has brought about, BelTA has learned.

As of November 2020 Russian consumers can buy compressor plants, diesel generators, and diesel pumps made by MMZ via 12-month leasing programs with zero interest rate.

The partnership program allows Russian customers to buy special machines via 12-month leasing contracts, provided the total value of the leased products exceeds RUB1 million. The prices are not increased thanks to the discount MMZ offers and thanks to the Belarusian government's subsidizing program.

The partnership program is designed to allow major budget and municipal organizations of Russia to buy special machines, which are widely used in everyday life and in manufacturing, during construction and operation of buildings, in the course of roadworks, in healthcare institutions, in agriculture, and forestry industry.

The new leasing options are expected to be very popular. The demand for MMZ products has been steadily rising for the last few years thanks to their reliability, performance, high quality, and competitive prices. The ability to buy MMZ products within the framework of the partnership program involving Sberbank Leasing will make the products even more affordable and attractive for Russian customers, the Belarusian company's press service told BelTA.

Sberbank Leasing is a rapidly developing leasing company, which is headquartered in Moscow and operates an extensive regional chain. The company is Russia's second largest in terms of the volume of new business.

Minsk Motor Plant (MMZ trademark) makes modern diesel engines, gas and diesel engines, and gas reciprocating engines. The company offers over 100 modifications of engines with their output varying from 7 to 330kW.
