MINSK, 31 May (BelTA) – New areas of cooperation will be discussed during the visit of an official delegation of the Belarusian Industry Ministry to Russia's Yaroslavl Oblast, BelTA learned from the press service of the Industry Ministry.
The official delegation of the Belarusian Industry Ministry led by Minister Aleksandr Rogozhnik is set to visit Yaroslavl Oblast of the Russian Federation from 31 May-2 June. The delegation will consist of heads of big industrial enterprises.
The agenda of the visit will include a meeting between Aleksandr Rogozhnik and Yaroslavl Oblast Governor Mikhail Yevrayev. A working meeting will also take place between the Belarusian industry minister and the members of the delegation with the heads of the industrial enterprises of Yaroslavl Oblast to discuss interaction in the automobile diesel engine building industry.
The joint working group for development of cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and Yaroslavl Oblast is due to hold a meeting as well.
Last year, the trade between Belarus and Yaroslavl Oblast increased by 13% compared to the previous year. Export supplies of Belarusian economic entities to organizations of Yaroslavl Oblast soared by 55%.
The Q1 2023 results also show positive dynamics in mutual trade. The supplies of Belarusian industrial goods to Yaroslavl Oblast continue. According to statistics, this indicator increased 1.5 times in Q1. Supplies of the products of Belarusian industrial enterprises (machinery and equipment) to Yaroslavl Oblast are also carried out from the sites of joint and assembly plants, as well as through the subjects of the commodity distribution network of enterprises located in other regions of the Russian Federation.
Yaroslavl Oblast is one of the main trade partners of Belarusian organizations and the Industry Ministry in particular. The main area of interaction is cooperation in the supply of car components and engines to conveyors of industrial enterprises of Yaroslavl Oblast and the Republic of Belarus.
