Belarusian companies sign over ten contracts at gas and oil exhibition in Russia's Ufa

MINSK, 1 June (BelTA) – Belarusian manufacturers signed more than ten contracts with major Russian partners at the Gas. Oil. Technologies exhibition, which was held in Russia's Ufa on 25-28 May, BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo exhibition company at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).

For example, the Belarusian tire manufacturer OAO Belshina and OAO Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant signed an agreement of intent to supply raw materials for tire production and a contract to deliver finished products. OAO Seismotekhnika and major company of the Russian geophysical service Bashneftegeofizika signed a memorandum of cooperation for the next year. The Russian manufacturers Iskozh and Polymer Technologies took interest in the developments of the Belarusian company OAO SvetlogorskKhimvolokno and the parties signed two contracts for the supply of Belarusian products.

The new development of OAO Mogilevkhimvolokno had its fair share of attention. The manufacturer entered into an agreement of intent with STEKLONIT, Russia's largest manufacturer and supplier of fiberglass-based products. The debut at the Ufa exhibition was also a success for the Belarusian steel mill BMZ as it signed seven cooperation agreements for 2021-2022.

The new products and advanced developments of Belarusian manufacturers were presented within the framework of the Made in Belarus exhibition, Belinterexpo said. The participants of the exhibition were Belneftekhim and its subsidiaries. The Made in Belarus exhibition was organized by the Belinterexpo exhibition company at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
