Belarusian companies sign contracts in Shanghai to deliver petrochemical products

MINSK, 8 November (BelTA) – Belarusian petrochemical companies have signed contracts to deliver over $13 million worth of petrochemical products to China. The contracts were signed during the China International Import Expo 2018 in Shanghai, the press service of the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim told BelTA.

The Belarusian company OAO Naftan and China National Fiber signed a contract for the delivery of $12 million worth of acrylic fiber.

OAO Polotsk-Steklovolokno contracted to sell €1 million worth of silica fiber to the Chinese companies DBW Automotive Components Shanghai and Lih Feng Jiing Enterprise.

OAO SvetlogorskKhimvolokno, which offers carbon materials to China, signed a number of contracts worth about $500,000.

The Belarusian tire manufacturer Belshina and Taiyuan Iron and Steel Company signed a memorandum of cooperation.

While in China Belneftekhim Deputy Chairman Vladimir Sizov met with representatives of the Chinese company Complant (China National Complete Plant Import and Export Corporation) to discuss investment cooperation.
