Belarusian Bellesbumprom' exports to Russia up by 1.5 times in 2022

MINSK, 20 January (BelTA) - The enterprises affiliated with the Belarusian timber, woodworking, pulp and paper industry concern Bellesbumprom stepped up exports to the Russian Federation by 1.5 times in 2022, press secretary of the concern Svetlana Shiyan told BelTA.

"The Russian Federation is one of the key trade and economic partners of Bellesbumprom. In 2022, supplies to Russia increased by 1.5 times," Svetlana Shiyan said.

All types of products manufactured by enterprises are exported to 68 regions of the neighboring country. Last year, exports of boards, furniture, paper and cardboard increased significantly.

"Bellesbumprom enterprises are successfully developing trade and economic cooperation with partners from Bashkortostan. Deliveries of woodworking products, pulp and paper to this region of Russia rose significantly in 2022. Shipments of paper and cardboard surged almost 3 times, furniture - 1.3 times. In general, exports surged by more than 50%," the concern said.

Bellesbumprom is actively working to expand the geography of supplies. Currently its reach includes 69 countries. The Belarusian timber, woodworking, pulp and paper enterprises tapped into the markets of Kuwait, Palestine, Kenya, Tunisia, Peru, Mexico, and Ecuador.
