MINSK, 25 January (BelTA) – Vehicles made by Belkommunmash (BMK Holding) enjoy high demand, General Director of OAO Management Company of the Holding Company Belkommunmash Taras Murog told the media, BelTA has learned.
"Our third quarter is booked up full, and the fourth is coming together strong. The demand for our vehicles is high. We are looking at an increase of 60% over last year. In 2023, we are set to produce 300 vehicles - trolleybuses, trams, electric buses," Taras Murog said.
According to him, the company's vehicles are in great demand in the Russian Federation. Kazakhstan shows interest too. "We cooperate with almost all regions of Russia, for example, Siberia, Yekaterinburg and Krasnodar. We continue a two-year contract with St. Petersburg and seek to gain a foothold in the market of Moscow. Trams are very much in demand in the Russian market. We are implementing a relevant project with Nizhny Novgorod. There is an interest in trolleybuses with increased autonomous run and electric buses,” he said. "We are not stopping there and are exploring other markets."
