MINSK, 3 February (BelTA) – Despite difficulties the Belarusian industrial group Amkodor reports impressive volumes of output and export. Head of the Belarus President Property Management Directorate Yuri Nazarov made the statement during a solemn presentation of Amkodor's latest products on 3 February, BelTA has learned.
Despite unfavorable factors Amkodor's output and export figures are impressive, Yuri Nazarov remarked. Amkodor is the most mobile company in the system of enterprises run by the Industry Ministry as far as innovations and the production of new machines, vehicles, and equipment are concerned. “I am talking about road construction, timber industry, and agriculture,” the official noted.
During the presentation held on 3 February Amkodor unveiled seven new products created in the last four months, including a timber forwarder, a harvester, a dual-drum roller, a soil roller, a high-performance rotary snow plow, a forklift truck, and a multifunctional trailer. Yuri Nazarov said: “We've been saying for a long time that we need machines and vehicles of our own make. In order to process timber and make something out of the raw materials that we have, we need to move them from forests first. We lacked a major lineup of vehicles for the timber industry. The company was already assigned such a task in the past. During the Intellectual Belarus expo the president said that we can do everything. He said it right. The presentation of the seven vehicles made in the last four months is a vivid testimony to the fact that we can truly make everything once we are consolidated.”
In 2022 Amkodor arranged two major presentations, during which the company unveiled five new machines and vehicles and over 300 import-substituting components and parts.
The Belarusian mechanical engineering holding company Amkodor is now 96 years old. The holding company includes 30 legal persons, 22 factories that make over 6,500 product titles, including over 135 models and modifications of special-purpose and agricultural machines and vehicles.
