Belarusian Amkodor's export over 80% up in 2022

MINSK, 11 January (BelTA) – The Belarusian mechanical engineering company Amkodor increased merchandise export by more than 80% in 2022, the company's press service told BelTA.

The year 2022 was successful for the holding company Amkodor thanks to steady implementation of innovations. The growth strategy the company adopted in 2021 matches the current market situation and development trends on the market of mechanical engineering products. In particular, the merchandise export growth rate totaled 182.4%. Products made by the company's construction machines division account for over 90% of the sales.

Amkodor managed to increase its share on the market of frontal loaders. In particular, Amkodor's share on the Russian market of frontal loaders with the lifting capacity of 4-4.9 tonnes rose from 41% to 58% while the share on the most popular segment of the market (frontal loaders with the lifting capacity of 3-3.9 tonnes) rose from 6% to 8% and challenged Chinese manufacturers a little.

Amkodor's share of the market of compact skid steer loaders increased by more than 10 times. The company's municipal vehicles division also reported positive dynamics.

The Belarusian holding company Amkodor makes over 135 models and modifications of special-purpose and agricultural vehicles and machines. Since the company manufactures a lot of components, the manufacturing localization rate exceeds 70%.

Amkodor intends to reach ambitious goals in 2023 with regard to the development and diversification of export, primarily thanks to shipments to Africa. There are plans for major sales to Asia, Central and Latin America.
