MINSK, 30 July (BelTA) – Belarus and Uzbekistan will step up cooperation in information and communication technologies, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Communications and Informatization Ministry.
This matter was in focus of the talks between Belarusian Communications and Informatization Minister Konstantin Shulgan and Shuhrat Sadikov, Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan. The meeting was held on 29 July and was attended by heads of interested organizations from both countries.
The parties discussed the state and prospects of cooperation in the field of communications and informatization, and reconciled an inter-ministerial draft agreement to promote cooperation in ICT. The document is to be signed on 1 August in the presence of the leaders of the two countries.
