Belarus, Turkey discuss project to make Polesie toys in Sinop

MINSK, 22 April (BelTA) – Belarus and Turkey are implementing an investment project to produce Polesie plastic toys in the Turkish city of Sinop, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Turkey.

The project was discussed during a videoconference meeting that was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Turkey and top executives of the Turkish-Belarusian joint venture Polesie TR.

The factory to produce plastic toys went online in Sinop on 19 January. The joint venture has plans to sell its output on the Turkish market and the countries where it was difficult to sell products before because of the difficult logistics. At the moment, the toys under the Polesie trademark are present on the markets of 68 countries.

During the videoconference meeting the parties exchanged views on the marketing strategies amidst the current economic situation.
