Belarus to stop making biodiesel fuel in 2020

MINSK, 15 November (BelTA) – Belarus will stop making biodiesel fuel as from 2020, representatives of the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim told BelTA.

Plans to stop producing biodiesel were discussed as Belneftekhim Chairman Andrei Rybakov met with employees of the Mogilev-based chemical company OAO Mogilevkhimvolokno.

Speaking about the company's performance, Andrei Rybakov noted that due to the plans to drop biodiesel fuel production next year Mogilevkhimvolokno will have a hard time trying to hit its assigned performance targets.
