MOSCOW, 14 October (BelTA) – Plans have been made to resume the production of equipment for the Russian shipbuilding industry soon, the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission told BelTA.
The Industrial Policy Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission has launched a manufacturing cooperation project to make kitchen equipment for vessels. Belarusian companies are expected to promptly resume making kitchen equipment using Russian blueprints for Russian vessels.
According to the source, Russian AO TsNII Kurs and Belarusian OAO Torgmash have started vigorous negotiations on implementing the project. Apart from that, the Russian company and the Grodno-based retail industry equipment manufacturer Grodtorgmash have discussed the possibility of resuming proprietary design and manufacturing of galley equipment for vessels soon.
