NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 14 March (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Thailand concurrently Vladimir Borovikov met with Asi Mamanee, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, on 13 March, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Hanoi.
The parties discussed interaction on international platforms, the use of cooperation tools to flash out the bilateral legal framework, as well as plans to promote trade and economic cooperation.
In 2022, Belarus and Thailand marked the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations. In October 2022, the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of Belarus performed at the Thailand Cultural Center in Bangkok and a Friendship Tree was planted in Wachirabenchathat Park in Bangkok on the occasion of the 30th anniversary.
