Belarus taking part in Prodexpo 2019 in Moscow

MOSCOW, 13 February (BelTA) – Over 80 Belarusian companies are taking part in the international exhibition for food, beverages and food raw materials Prodexpo 2019 which is underway in Moscow on 11-15 February, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian embassy in Russia.

“The exhibition has displayed a wide range of Belarusian producers of meat, dairy, bakery, confectionary, alcohol and other products. The exhibition caters for specialists and is aimed at concluding long-term contracts on the supply of Belarusian food products to the Russian market,” the press service said.

The Belarusian dairy industry is represented at the expo by companies such as Belovezhskiye Syry, Milkavita, Turov Dairy, Molochny Gostinets, Molochny Mir, Zdravushka-Milk, Rogachev Dairy, Slutsk Creamery. Meat products are showcased at the exhibition by Brest, Vitebsk, Bobruisk, Borisov, Volkovysk, Kalinkovichi, Slutsk, Grodno and Mogilev meat packing plants, Dzerzhinsky agricultural company, Vitebsk Poultry Plant. Confectionary and beverages are on show by Spartak, Kommunarka, Krasny Mozyryanin, Krasny Pischevik, Slodych, Minsk Kristall, Minsk Plant of Sparkling Wines, Lidskoye Pivo and Krinitsa.

Prodexpo is the largest annual exhibition of food and beverages in Russia and Eastern Europe. In 2019, the exhibition gathered more than 2,400 exhibitors from 60 countries.
