MINSK, 6 November (BelTA) – Belarusian manufacturers have showcased their products at the Havana International Fair FIHAV 2019 that is running in Cuba through 8 November, BelTA learned from representatives of the exhibition enterprise BelInterExpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
BelAZ showcases its ultra class haul trucks with the lifting capacity of 30 to 450 tonnes. Belagromash has presented arable farming equipment designed for tillage, sowing and fertilisation. BATE and Belcard demonstrate component parts for road construction machinery and agricultural equipment. Borisov Plant of Aggregates displays component parts for diesel engines for cars and trucks.
Visitors to the expo can also see a 20-tonne dump truck and a 65-tonne truck tractor by Minsk Automobile Plant near the exhibition premises. Minsk Tractor Works has presented new models of Belarus tractors that can operate in all types of climate and running conditions.
The Belarusian exposition has been arranged by the exhibition enterprise BelInterExpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with support of the Industry Ministry and the Belarusian Embassy in Cuba. Taking part in the exposition opening were Belarusian Industry Minister Pavel Utyupin, Belarus Ambassador to Cuba Aleksandr Aleksandrov, Cuba's First Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investments Antonio Carricarte.
FIHAV is among the three biggest expos in Latin America. This year it has brought together over 4,000 companies from 60 countries, including Brazil, Great Britain, Vietnam, Spain, Canada, China, Mexico, Russia, Ukraine, France, the Czech Republic, Chile, Ecuador, and South Africa.
