Belarus, Sudan aim to develop cooperation in labor, social security

MINSK, 5 April (BelTA) – Belarusian Labor and Social Security Minister Irina Kostevich met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sudan to Belarus Mohammed Omer Musa Ali, BelTA learned from the Telegram-channel of the Belarusian Labor and Social Security Ministry.

The parties discussed the prospects and possible ways to develop bilateral relations in the social and labor area. “Taking into account Sudan's interest, Irina Kostevich shared the experience of Belarus in the regulation of labor relations, provision of social support to various categories of population, implementation of family policy, assistance in employment of citizens and foreigners, pension provision,” the ministry reported.

The parties expressed their willingness to continue cooperation on issues of mutual interest and to maintain working contacts, including at the level of corresponding specialists. The parties agreed to work on the preparation and conclusion of a memorandum of cooperation on social and labor issues.
