MINSK, 27 April (BelTA) - Belarus and Novosibirsk Oblast of Russia will set a joint manufacture of milking systems for animal husbandry, Belarusian Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister Alla Lomakina said during a working visit of the Belarusian government delegation to Novosibirsk, BelTA has learned.
Alla Lomakina said that Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko confirmed Belarus' interest in the joint project. “The most important thing is that we have received confirmation that business from both sides is interested. Upon returning to home, we will start working on the project," she said. “The prime minister has set a fairly strict time frame. So immediately upon our return, we will begin to actively work with both sides. The market is potentially very large. There are prospects, and therefore we are very interested to get this project going soon."
According to her, this market is very promising for Belarus. "We will not be confined only to Novosibirsk Oblast. We have very great opportunities: this is the entire Siberian Federal District and Kazakhstan, with which we have experience of cooperation," Alla Lomakina concluded.
