Belarus, Russia's Altai Krai to develop cooperation program for 2018-2019

MOSCOW, 23 February (BelTA) – Belarus and Russia's Altai Krai will develop a cooperation development program for 2018-2019. The relevant decision was made at a meeting of the bilateral commission of cooperation coordination in Barnaul, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian embassy in Russia.

While in the Russian region, the Belarusian delegation led by Industry Minister Vitaly Vovk studied the potential of big companies of Altai Krai and got familiar with the development of tourism and spa resorts in the region.

Vitaly Vovk met with Altai Krai Governor Alexander Karlin to consider the results of bilateral cooperation in 2017 and prospects for developing future relations. They also talked over the initiative to set up training classes of Minsk Tractor Works and Gomselmash at the engineering department of the Altai State Agricultural University.
