Belarus, Russia to discuss milk supplies on 19-20 September

MINSK, 18 September (BelTA) – Representatives of the Veterinary and Food Oversight Department of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry and Rosselkhoznadzor, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of Russia, will meet in Smolensk on 19-20 September, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.

“The parties are set to discuss the implementation of the roadmap of bilateral cooperation in part of removing mutual restrictive measures against dairy supplies in 2018,” the ministry said.

The agenda of the meeting will also include matters related to the integration of the Belarusian automated information system for identification, registration and tracing of animals and products of animal origin (AITS) with the Russian information system Mercury, and the exchange of electronic veterinary support documentation.
