Belarus reduces export duties on oil, petroleum products on 1 October

MINSK, 1 October (BelTA) – On 1 October 2019, Belarus is set to reduce export duties on oil and petroleum products that are exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union. This decision is laid down by the Council of Ministers' Resolution No.659 as of 26 September 2019, BelTA learned from the National Legal Internet Portal.

The export duty on crude oil will go down from $90.7 to $87.2 per tonne.

The duty on straight-run gasoline will drop from $49.8 to $47.9 per tonne, on commercial gasoline - from $27.2 to $26.1 per tonne.

The export duty on light and medium distillates will equal $26.1 per tonne instead of $27.2. The same rate will be applied to diesel fuel, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants, and other oils.

The export duties on crude oil and some categories of derivative oil products were previously revised downwards on 1 September 2019.
