Belarus ready to supply e-buses, farm machines to Russia's Astrakhan Oblast

MINSK, 24 September (BelTA) - Belarus is ready to supply electric buses and farm machines to Astrakhan Oblast of Russia, Belarus' Transport and Communications Minister, the head of the Belarusian part of the working group on cooperation between Belarus and Russia's Astrakhan Oblast Aleksei Avramenko said during a meeting with the Governor Igor Babushkin, BelTA learned from the press service of the Transport and Communications Ministry.

"Belarus is interested in developing mutually beneficial cooperation and increasing trade with Astrakhan Oblast. For example, we are ready to organize deliveries of agricultural, utility, road-building and other vehicles, including Belkommunmash electric buses to the Russian region," Aleksei Avramenko said.

The parties reviewed cooperation in agriculture, housing and utilities. The Belarusian side is, in particular, ready to continue assisting the region with supplying lifts, including for new buildings.

The MTZ-Stavropol trading house is setting up a maintenance center for MTZ tractors in Astrakhan Oblast, which was praised as a positive example of bilateral interaction.
