Belarus raises export duties on oil, oil products

MINSK, 2 February (BelTA) – On 1 February 2022 Belarus increased export duties on oil and oil products which are exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The Council of Ministers issued relevant resolution No.57 on 31 January 2022, BelTA learned from the national legal information registry.

In line with the resolution the size of the export duty on crude oil, furnace oil, oil bitumen, petrolatum, paraffin, and waste oils is now $47.7 per tonne ($46.7 previously). The export duty on straight-run gasoline was set at $26.2 per tonne ($25.6 previously). The size of the export duty on commercial gasoline, diesel fuel, light and middle distillates, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants made up $14.3 per tonne ($14 previously).

The export duties on crude oil and some categories of derivative oil products were previously revised downward on 1 January.
